Why are we here? What do we do while we are on this earth?
Our mission on this earth is to be of service to humanity.As you are trying to unfold, as we are trying to raise ourselves to a higher state to be liberated from this moral dream, to become totally free, be of service all you can, without looking for anything in return.
Serve everyone you meet.
"Ask people what you can do to make their lives happier and brighter. Do not become self-absorbed, imagining that you are 'spiritual'.
Ask people what you can do for them to make their lives happier and brighter. Be of total service to everyone. It is written that the first shall be last, and the last first. In truth, you are not the doer, you are not the mind, you are total freedom.
You are already 'liberated'. But this is intellectual with some of us. Therefore, practice the Virtues, Love, Compassion, Humility, and you will be amazed at how fast you become free.
What is freedom? Freedom from fear, jealousy, strife. Thinking this and doing this are two different things.Many people think they are spiritual, yet dislike so many people.
Or they do many harmful things to others and then think the person should simply let them do it. This is not spirituality. This is ignorance of spiritual laws of Lovingkindness, Purity of Heart and action.
In reality, there is not 'you' and there is no 'me'. There is only the Divine Pure Self,( The Heart of God) permeating all of life. Desires, Wants, they all cause you to mistake the illusion of outer circumstances for who you really are. A good way to stop this is through service to others. This is an ancient path to remember.
"You must actually care about other people more than yourself."
To feel the Presence. Giving immediately lifts us to higher consciousness. Many saints found Illumination (realization of Divine Presence) through this path. But your heart must be very pure. Very True. You must actually care about other people more than yourself. This is because there are no 'other ' people. There is only one life, one Truth.
The Current
Remember? When you are engaged in service to others, in relieving the suffering of others, you are naturally aligned with the Current that Knows the Way. You are Manifesting your True Nature. Things suddenly seem to go your way.
Life is easier. You are taken care of.
Releasing thoughts for yourself, your human self, makes you a finer person. It purifies you so to speak. It makes it easier to drop the qualities you are having difficulties with. You get out of the way. There is not need to struggle anymore. You are living with the Truth of your Being.
Review The Divine Virtues (Love, Compassion, Humility) and examine your thoughts carefully.
To the extend that you are honest with yourself, you will live in harmony with the current. Aware of the Presence that engulfs you, takes care of you.
Do not worry. Trust.
